Advancing the supply systems in the blue bioeconomy value chains
I will be interested in joining a consortium from Ireland in the BlueBio call 2021 with a potential contribution funding from my country of 200,000€.
My main areas of expertise are the use and optimization of innovative and emerging technologies (ultrasounds, microwave among others) for the extraction of bioactive compounds (proteins, polysaccharides and lipids) with possible applications as nutraceuticals. As part of my research I have also worked in the characterization of these compounds, bioactivities (i.e. antioxidant, antihypertensive...), as well as studying their incorporation into food matrices (functional properties).
If my expertise can be useful in your consortium, please drop me an email as I will be able to apply as main PI from Ireland and contribute to the value of the proposal.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
